Parking is conveniently available surrounding the salon, with complimentary street parking, metered parking and covered garage parking nearby.

Chicago Pay Box metered parking is available across 53rd Street from the salon.

PARKING
Covered garage parking is available around the corner at 52nd & Cornell. Pull a ticket upon entering and bring it with you to your appointment for validation.

FROM THE GARAGE
After parking, exit the garage by elevator or stairs and proceed around the corner to the salon entrance at 1614 E. 53rd Street.

Once you arrive at Sola Salon Studios, follow these simple steps to access Hair By Blyss.
AT THE FRONT ENTRANCE
Locate BLYSS SUITE / Hair By Blyss in the building directory and press the call button. You may also enter 012# at the call box and press the call button to ring the suite. I will buzz you in.
ONCE INSIDE
Enter the building and make a left down the hallway.
SUITE 28
Hair By Blyss is the second suite on the left — Suite 28.
YOUR PRIVATE SUITE
Suite 28 offers an intimate, one-on-one salon experience thoughtfully designed for comfort, privacy and personalized care.
The street-facing suite is filled with beautiful natural light, while custom drapery can be drawn whenever additional privacy is desired.

A few thoughtful preparations help ensure your appointment is relaxed, efficient and tailored entirely to you.
GENERAL APPOINTMENTS
ARRIVE READY & ON TIME
Please arrive on time with your hair thoroughly combed and detangled. Shampoo and blow-dry preparation are included with applicable services.
Because each appointment is reserved exclusively for you, arrivals 15 minutes or more late may require reschedulingto ensure your service can be completed properly without affecting the next guest.

Because Hair By Blyss is an intimate, one-on-one environment, please reschedule your appointment if you are experiencing symptoms of illness.
Your consideration helps maintain a comfortable and healthy environment for every guest.
CONSULTATIONS
HAIR MUST BE ACCESSIBLE
For all consultations, please arrive with your natural hair fully accessible and free of extensions, braids, wigs or other installations.
This allows for a thorough assessment of your hair and scalp and helps determine the services, techniques and options best suited to your desired look.
GUEST POLICY
AN INTIMATE, ONE-ON-ONE SPACE
Hair By Blyss is a private suite designed for a personalized one-on-one experience. Because seating and space are limited, additional guests must be approved in advance.
Please contact your stylist prior to your appointment if you would like someone to accompany you.
APPOINTMENT POLICIES
Your Time Is Reserved Especially for You
CANCELLATIONS
Appointments may be canceled or rescheduled without charge at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time. Cancellations made within 24 hours are subject to a fee of 50% of the scheduled service total.
LATE ARRIVALS
Please communicate any delay as soon as possible. Arrivals of 15 minutes or more may require rescheduling, as extending an appointment can affect the experience reserved for the next guest.
NO-SHOWS
Clients who do not arrive for their scheduled appointment and have not provided notice are subject to 100% of the scheduled service total.
